2XO The Vinyl Blend
Bourbon
2XO // USA
The Vinyl Blend is the sixth release for the 2XO's Icon Series. Like the others, this one was blended by American whiskey blender Dixon Dedman using a double-barrel process (2XO means Two Times Oak). For this bottling, two bourbon mash bills were used — one with a high-rye 35% recipe and another with a moderate 18% rye recipe. Dedman double-barreled the high-rye recipe into new, charred oak barrels (#4 char levels) for 9 months to a year.
This high-rye portion makes up 40% of the blend. Available nationwide beginning April 2025. (SRP $99.99).

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is forward with hearty oak, vanilla, and dark chocolate. It tastes more spicy than sweet on the palate which is a bit chewy and slightly dry. The finish is on the bitter side with some vanilla and dark chocolate coming though again at the finish. There's a light toasted oak flavor surrounding the bourbon throughout. Would please those who prefer a not-too-sweet bourbon. Enjoy neat or in a Top Shelf Manhattan as the bourbon flavor notes would play nicely with a brandied cherry. "
