According to the ancient Mesoamericans, the number 400 was synonymous with innumerable. Don Tacho and his son, Joel Santiago, created and named this mezcal after the belief that the spirits of 400 rabbits take over one's body and behavior when it is ingested.
400 Conejos Joven Espadin is produced traditionally using mesquite and encino oak as the heat source to cook the espadín agaves for the underground conical oven. .
