On the banks of the Charente River in the town of Cognac, sits the House of Fussigny, maker of this this Superieur Fine Champagne Cognac. It is made by blending eaux-de-vie distilled in the Cognac region: at least 50% from Grande Champagne and the rest from Petite Champagne. Like all cognac, it is aged in French oak casks, of the Limousin and Tronçais variety. However, unlike most cognacs, the age and barrel details are handwritten on each bottle. This is bottled at 40% ABV.
