A.H. Riise was originally a pharmacist who created St.
Thomas Pharmacy, a pharmacy in the Caribbean Islands known for carrying a large inventory of resources through the connections Riise made in North America along with his travels around the Caribbean. Riise's interest in botany led him to creating alcohol and perfume in addition to pharmaceutical goods with the supplies he collected. This non-chill-filtered rum is a recreation of the original "Royal Navy Rum" created by Riise using the original formula.
