Aberfeldy 16 Year

Had px as reference spirit then tried this for 2nd time. Nose is great w/ sherry/ wine notes. But on the palate a terrible off note of not very sweet butterscotch drowns out those notes. Perhaps at cask strength it would be better tasting. This is diluted to 40%

Nose:. Sweet, honey, hint of sherry. Taste: oak, more balanced than Glendronach 12. Finish: sweetness, a small amount of spice. I enjoy this scotch.
