Gooderham & Worts Eleven Souls is part of the 2018 Northern Borders Rare Collection inspired by the story of William Gooderham caring for eleven orphans on their voyage to Canada.
Eleven different whisky components were blended for this release using various distillation methods and five grains (malted and unmalted rye, Brasetto rye, red winter wheat, malted and unmalted barley and double-distilled corn whisky) aged in new white oak, ex bourbon casks or Canadian whisky casks.

Tasting Notes
"This unified gem brings out the élite from each grain. Vanilla, fruit blossoms, toasted almonds like you’d find in a breakfast cereal, cherry pipe tobacco and grassy rye swirl on the nose and into the palate. A holy trinity of honey, dried fruits and peppery rye solidify the flavor base. Baking spices flare to a brightness that has its own gravitational pull. This is the star of the 2018 collection."
