This is the 6th release for A. Smith Bowman's line of experimental whiskeys. The bourbon was distilled in 2006 and aged traditionally until 2013.
At that time, it was placed into barrels which first held Bowman bourbon before being used to age Gingerbread Stout from Hardwood Brewery. Those used stout barrels were used to finish this bourbon for 12 weeks before it was bottled at 90 proof. Limited availability.
