Based in Southwold along the eastern English coast, the Adnams Brewery has been making beer since 1872, when George and Ernest Adams bought the the town's existing brewhouse. In 2010, the brewery opened the Copper House distillery and soon began producing their own distilled spirits.
Adnams First Rate Gin is distilled from locally grown oat, wheat, and barley. It is then infused with 13 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seed, orris root, licorice root, angelica root, sweet orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom pod, cassia bark, angelica root, caraway seed, fennel seed, thyme and vanilla pod.
