Reviewed September 1, 2020Starting Bourbon Heritage Month off with a pour of a local distillate. This bourbon is 95% local corn. Nose is cinnamon and baking spice. I get oak and some sweetness. Palate is oak, and KY hug with some burnt caramel. The finish is shorter than I'd like and toasted marshmallow.75.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 18, 2020This bourbon is unique in the respect it is a small batch distillate made using the original copper stills from the Indian Creek distillery. This family has been making whiskey on the family Agricultural Industrial Complex since the early 1800s. It's 95% corn bourbon bottles at 120 proof. Nose: Started as butterscotch and rich caramel. After a couple minutes I sense a summer camp fire. I won't say s'mores but I sense the smokey summer camp Fire. I almost sense toasted marshmallow. Palate: The toasted marshmallow carries through. It is definitely sweet from the corn. Finish is short with a hint of smoke. The pour has decent legs.75.0 USD per Bottle
