Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels

It’s okay but the Rye is so much better!

The nose is really nice, as the port finish really shines through, along with a peppery, leathery, red fruit-ish kind of note. The taste isn't too crazy though. A mellow, slightly fruity, slightly creamy taste makes it highly drinkable, but not very interesting. It does linger for a bit in the mouth, but not a lot of heat. Overall, not bad. Not going to be a staple in my bar, but glad I tried it.

Peanut brittle. Smooth, creamy, light, nutty, sweet, with a little kick in the finish. So good
