Appleton Estate 21 Year Limited Edition

Nose of bright fruits and caramel, mellow banana. Incredibly smooth. Not too sweet on the palate with balanced notes of oak

I only got to have two glasses of this rum, because I couldn't afford to buy the bottle. However, this is by far the best rum I've ever had. It reminded me of sitting and sipping a smooth bourbon or oaky whiskey. I was given a bottle of the Appleton "Joy" as a gift that I have not tried yet. I am excited to see if that blend can top this blend, which would be hard to do.
