Ardbeg 10 Year

Sweet notes of peat and smoke, followed by an earthy malt. Palate is delicious with notes of mineral ground, deep earthy notes **** freshly turned soil. Aftertaste is yeasty and bread - like full of flavour.

Compared to Laphroaig 10: the peat is more of a vegetative brinstone Lacks the sweet mouthfeel of Laphroaig Less structured and nuanced

Has to be one of my favorites - just such a unique, earthy, and balanced taste. I like that it’s way different from other scotches

Nose: peaty and smoky. Slight salinity, slight bacon. Theres an underlying sweetness. Palate: theres definitely a strong smoke here. Getting the classic smoked ham note. Definitely a harsh medicinal note too. A bit of bitter ash. Theres a mild malt sweetness underlying. Finish: slight woody bitterness. A bit of peat phenols

Gервая любовь, первая айла. Попробовал в Калининграде. Ardbeg не используют красители, холодную фильтрацию и не выпускают виски крепостью ниже 46%. Фенольность колеблется от партии к партии в пределах 55-65 ppm. Виски созревает не менее десяти лет в бочках из под бурбона повторного наполнения.
