Ardbeg An Oa draws together 3 batches of spirit matured in charred virgin American oak, first-fill ex-bourbon, and PX sherry butts, marrying them together in a specially built Gathering Vat.
Nose: top notes of peat with a body of sweet raisins, jam and marmalade
Palate: peat and smoke in abundance, with tobacco and tea, well-rounded mouth with no rough edges
Finish: quite short, warming and smooth
