Ardbeg An Oa

My favorite peated scotch so far. Love this so much. Have it sitting right next to my desk in the office ❤️

On the nose: peat, smoke, vanilla, and a light presence of red fruit On the palate: peat, smoke, surprisingly big vanilla, black pepper, dark chocolate, a touch of red fruit from the sherry cask, and molasses. Super interesting Islay. More rounded and friendly than the 10, but very lively and punchy nonetheless.

Erg rokerig, kruidig in de mond, lange nasmaak

Neat. Like a warm and inviting campfire overtaking your senses. Loved this.

A nice, subtle Islay that is still unmistakably Ardbeg. The tasting notes that mention mint, however, are lost on me.
