One of the most complex whiskies I have yet to try. The flavor goes from salty to sweet to spice all in one sip. Perhaps more savory than sweet but this is the best fried chicken and waffles I have had the honor of tasting.
Had this bottle a while oxidized with just the neck, poured some on 7/24/18 and it was awesome. Maple syrup nice mouthfeel and viscosity cigar ash, long a definite keeper in the whiskey cabinet usually around $110-$120. Falls inline with the octomore for me but easier to get.
