Ardbeg Corryvreckan

smoke and salt.very nice not a sherry sweet but a nice sweet taste just the same along with a smoky wood like flavour.wonderful and water is a must.it opens up the flavours nicely.a keeper.

Initially it's too intense for me. After two separate and desperate tastings I have come to fear the first sip and then I become acclimated. Boy o boy. Doesn't make me to optimistic I'd enjoy the peat monster. But I like Corryvreckan to taste my limits.

I'm a big fan of Islay scotch and this ardbeg is simply superb for serious peat lovers.
