Ardbeg Kelpie

Nose - wood smoke, pepper, some sea water soaked wood Palette - medium thick body, ashy wood that leads into caramel and black pepper, some light sweet chocolate Finish - lingering spicy smoke, some creamy rich caramel at the end, medium burn

Classic Ardbeg style with more briney/ earthly notes - would certainly have it if offered a pour but not sure if I’d actively seek a bottle

Sweet & salty

This is a beautiful campfire on an islay beach with stewed apples in the background. So clean so delicious. With a lingering sugary sweetness and a clean finish.
