Nose: initially thought I had a blocked nose but BAM. There she is. Sudden onset of smoke. Very oily on the palate with a mellow introduction to the peat. Of all Ardbegs thusfar a very tailored smooth peaty finish. One of the smoothest Ardbegs so far.
A nice smokey ardbeg that brings on the usual smoke and pepper. however, this young peat has a more pungent prescence and bring in an almost mild sock funk. sounds odd, but comes together somehow...not bad but certainly not my favorite ardbeg
