Tasting Notes
"The palate features sweet fruits like tinned pineapple and apricots, accompanied by soot, licorice and smoked kippers. A hint of bandages and a whiff of iodine as well. Balanced and mature on the nose, with a peat influence to match. Still rather sooty and ashy though. Whiffs of tropical fruit followed by a nice salinity with soft smoke and touches of plastic. Mature Ardbeg is rare these days, so this is rather a treat."
