Ardmore Port Wood Finish

Fairly gentle and fruity, subtle peat from the nose to the finish. A little spice on the pallet. Overall very nice and complex scotch.

Spiced aromas, with notes of pear, pine, and some gentle peat. Light, with prominent sweetness from the casks perhaps. Some definite woodiness that makes it a little dry. Finish is quite short. I like this as a good, slightly sweet Highland. Great value and good for everyday drinking.
