Samantha Collins and her husband, John, created this brandy in honor of Samantha's great grandfather, Arthur "Skipper" Ford, who produced his own version of applejack (American apple brandy) with apples grown on his ranch in Howell Mountain, California.
This brandy is made with a 100% apple mash that is made with Arkansas Black and Golden Delicious apple varieties.

This brandy is made with a 100% apple mash that is made with Arkansas Black and Golden Delicious apple varieties. After distillation, the spirit is then aged a total of three years - two years in ex-cognac barrels and one year in ex-bourbon barrels - before being bottled at 49% ABV.
