Dryness from barrels, burnt coffee and sweet sherry

I rate it at 88. A Lowlands scotch. No peat. Ok, but no reason to buy again

I would say 3.5 if I could do half stars. Good oily texture and lingering taste. Tasted a bit rubbery. I kept picturing those old rubber tracks from my track days. Overall - a quality scotch, just not the flavor that I typically go for. I did really enjoy the smell that you get on the nose. So I was a bit conflicted on this one.

Great nose! Can spend a long time just nosing it. Great fruit and oak come through as well. Medium finish. Great value as well.
