The apricot taste mentioned on the bottle is a major positive when tasting. Missing something that lingers in the mouth, the taste disappears quite fast.

Not too sweet oaky and slight burnt sugar but also fruit like apricot. Less funky than pussers but really interesting multiple flavours

This is a rum for whiskey drinkers. Oak aged for 8 yrs in the heat of the Caribbean lends itself to some oaky tones but is still sweet with notes of apricot and tropical fruits and molasses. Would make a killer rum old fashioned.
