Baker's Small Batch Bourbon

Peanuts, toasted bread, caramel and vanilla. Very similar to JD. Didn’t like it. Will use as mixer with Coke or Ginger Ale

Nose - nutty and leather. Oak and orange zest. This is the umami of whiskey. All rich and intense. Taste- sweeter than the nose but followed by some spice and heat. I expected this to be more like a Booker's but it's a different direction and I like it. More clove and spice balanced with the caramelized sweetness. A tiny bit of bitterness is the only distraction but to be fair I am drinking this against a 2019 George T Stagg so take that with some salt.
