Baker's Single Barrel Bourbon 7 Year

Moving this to a single barrel and a higher proof was a good idea. This is a hidden gem. I get all vanilla and a barrel char note on the taste. The back end is spice, some nice oak, and some deeper cherry. Nice finish. A lovely sipper.

It lacks the vanilla bomb of the bakers small batch, however it is a wonderful bourbon. Vanilla, baking spice, almost a cinnamon finish.

every time I do a high proof blind with baker's, it hangs with the best. the bottle I have is the old style.

solid jim beam profile of peanuts & burnt caramel. not much on finish for me, but still a good pour
