Balcones Lineage Texas Single Malt

Great color! Apple, cinnamon, and malt flood the nose first. More subtlety, cherry, banana, and toffee. Taste is nutty and a little bitter. Banana and spice on the finish with a decent bite. A bit oily as well. Interesting but not necessarily enjoyable.

First sniff had notes of fruit and honey suckle with heavy grain notes. First sip has notes of vanilla and fig with a spicy finish that lingers after with a smoky finish.

A bit smokey, tropical fruit - mango, walnut, pie crust

Flaviar Advent Day 12- tasted blind. I like this one- a complex mix of flavors that seems to reveal a bit more with each sip. I initially noticed the smokiness, and then the light fruit notes- some mango and apricot. It finishes with cloves and walnut, a decent bit of spice.
