Balcones Lineage Texas Single Malt

I was fortunate to get the last bottle of this at Specs. It was priced below $30. Nose is fruits like baked apples with slight cinnamon. Some lemon or light orange as well. Maybe some less sweet smelling lifesavers too. It’s definitely Balcones on nose and taste. There is hot lemon and cinnamon. The orange is there but maybe in peel form. This one is different than the Single Malt. Maybe a mix of the Pot Still Bourbon and the Single Malt.

This is delicious. Nose is sweet and fruity, apples and honey. First thing I tasted was peaches and I still taste the peaches. It’s got the honey, apple a smooth creaminess like cream soda in there too. This is just a really well done Texas single malt. Balcones nails it again.
