Balcones Prohibida is only the second rum released by the Texas-based distiller. It was double pot-distilled using 100% domestic molasses along with aged dunder.
The rum was then aged in used barrels before a finishing period in Balcones' own peated single malt casks for a total aging of 33 months. Bottled at 100 proof.
