I get a slightly smoked toffee to start and smooth finish.

Reallly good, flavor bomb, kinda pokey with similar aftertaste to willet stuff, but 132 proof, so surprisingly smooth! Would be very good with ice I’m sure

I would have rated this closer to a 5 if not for the slightly excessive burn. Excellent flavor depth, a good rich finish and has served as a very good stop-gap between Blantons acquisitions. If you don't mind a little burn then this is excellent.

Nose - dry wood spice, butter poached pear, citrus peel, caramel and a bit of roasted nuts Palette - oily heat, spiced caramel, wood tannins, wood spices, some bitter marmalade Finish - rich, hot, spicy and long, strong warm and comforting burn
