Reviewed June 10, 2022 (edited November 11, 2022)1st sip I thought I had COVID, nothing. 2nd sip and I thought someone replaced my glass, really good!! Sweet and oily with a nice burn on the finish. I do love cask strength whiskey, makes me wonder why most whiskey gets watered down 😬. This is a keeper! -

Reviewed May 5, 2022 (edited May 15, 2023)Nose: Very fruit forward on the nose. Strawberry, raspberry preserves, and caramel candies are the first notes to come across. Candied orange, donut glaze, and baking spices are next with a underlying oak note. Palate: Very fruity up front. Strawberry Pop-Tart, cream, and simple syrup are found on the front of the palate. Mid palate has that candied orange note, allspice, and subtle oak. Mouthfeel is viscous and rich. Finish: The finish is warming with baking spices and presents a odd strawberry oak note that is quite unique and pleasant. The finish is lingering and mid-long length. Final Rating : 9.1/10 -

Reviewed April 30, 2022 (edited August 8, 2022)Oak and tobacco come first, it’s spicy and dry without much sweetness on the nose. A drop of water brings out a cereal note as well. First sip brings the spice along, but features honeycomb and brown sugar, as the sweet notes missing from the nose come through. The water brings out maraschino cherries and a woody finish. It’s hot but complex. Hints of leather, cinnamon, and spearmint are found on subsequent tastes.
