Bardstown Bourbon Co. Founders KBS Stout Finish

Absolutely amazing. Smooth, a touch sweet, nice level of spice from the beer. It’s exactly what it should be.

Nose: sweet with smoke and vanilla Palate: sweet, creamy, some stout residue with milk chocolate and a hint of black licorice.

The nose does not deny the bourbon origins of this surprisingly complex whiskey, but the finish in Founders KBS Stout barrels provides notes of cocoa, milky/buttery, and nutty aroma. The bourbon sings on the start with traditional roasted vanilla and mild corn sweetness and finishes with delicious silky Stout that coats the palate with hints of chocolate covered oranges.

Another outstanding bourbon by Bardstown. A smooth and chocolatey tasting bourbon.
