Tasting Notes
"The nose is somewhat tight and quiet, but things open up considerably on the palate. Flavors of dark chocolate, hot spices (both peppery and sweet, such as clove) and a slightly medicinal note are bound by a dominant salty, tart and tangy quality. A large rock would likely quiet that tartness and bring out more of the sweetness and spice. Often the word "interesting" as a negative connotation when it comes to spirits tasting, but here it should be taken in its literal meaning: this whiskey is interesting! In a good way! "
