Very smooth. Could taste a light fruit flavor at the end

This was a favorite bottle of mine when i was younger and knew almost nothing about bourbon. In my defense i think i liked the hint of rye - mostly on the nose along with hay, honey and vanilla. And it IS easy to drink and pretty unoffensive with the mild, sweet, slightly fruity body. Honey and graham cracker, like breakfast cereal for the kiddos. The short finish does have that slight dried fruit taste they forecast for you on the bottle. Overall an easily found mild bourbon for newbies and maybe (like in a novel i read) “a good whiskey for a girl.”
