Basil Hayden Bourbon

Very sweet notes like brown sugar followed by very very subtle baking spices. Personally, this was a really smooth bourbon, and I really enjoyed it! I bought this bottle in a store that had higher prices than I could probably normally find this for, but honestly I still think it was worth the price for how excellent of a bourbon this is. The bottle is also absolutely beautiful.

Spicy, nutty flavor

Nose: Corn, sweet spice, Palate: Sweet corn, with some vanilla, rye and spice come win quick, thin bodied Finish: a very short finish with heat but little else. Overall a low proof, starter Bourbon with hints of classic Bourbon profile on the palate but the nose and finish to me is a lot left to be desired with its simplicity.
