Reviewed October 3, 2024Starts with a nice nose of carmel, cherry, apple, baking spice. First sips are thin across the palate as heat builds. Most of your expected bourbon flavors seem to be held back or covered by a dry tannic oak flavor. Wish the flavor followed the nose. Decent bourbon, but there is better value out there.59.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More -

Reviewed September 7, 2024Nose: sweet molasses smacks you in the face followed by a nice bread note. Reminiscent of syrup and panackes. I even get the butter on top note. Followed by a nutty and citrus note. Palate: light consistency. Very oaky. Wish the nose matched the palate tbh. Still pretty good. A nice vanilla note on the back end. Pretty traditional tasty bourbon.Belle Meade Plantation -

Reviewed April 3, 2024 (edited April 4, 2024)Received a blind sample from a friend. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Caramel, apples and some graham cracker. Palate: Lots of cinnamon red hots and some sweet clove notes. Finish: Medium heat, but the finish just goes on and on. Splash: No new flavors are revealed. Overall: 8/10 - This has classic bourbon written all over it. Would stand up nicely to some ice or vermouth. The finish just won't quit. -
