Belle Meade Reserve Bourbon

Nice caramel and stone fruit on the nose. Delicious caramel sweetness on the tongue that evolves to stone fruit and woody oak notes.

I am not a fan of the standard Belle Meade offering. Just really not good. So was hoping this would be better. It is better but honestly it’s just a pour of proof. Not a lot on the nose or taste and a lot of proof on the back end. Best thing is it is a long finish more from the warmth than anything. Just disappointing.

Vanilla, caramel + cherry. Doesn’t have the back-of-the-throat rye finish (I don’t usually love ryes for this reason). Belle Meade is a top fav. So smooth while being spicy, sweet and smokey.
