Benchmark Single Barrel Bourbon (95 Proof)

Not sure why i only recently discovered this but it is great at this price point.

Harsh. Good cocktail option

Corn and higher alcohol in the aroma. Flavor is toasted oak, a bit of if corn, and vanilla. Still tastes cheap though.

Berries

The nose packs quite a bit. Heavy red fruit. Really nice oak note. Almost saw dust. Slight leather. The flavor is pretty thin. Those fruit notes are there but dissipate quickly. Pleasant spice. There's more oak than anything, but berry does show up more at the finish along with a slight bitterness. Some spice lingers on the finishes. But again, it was pretty thin throughout.
