Benriach Smoky Quarter Cask
Released in May 2022, Benriach Smoky Quarter Cask is a bottling is a nod to the early 1970s when the Speyside distillery had reverted to making whisky in the 19th century style by using malted barley smoked with Highland peat. Here the distillery used a combination of unpeated and peated single malt which was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels.
Then the whisky was placed into bespoke quarter casks to finish its maturation. It's bottled with natural color at 46% ABV.
