Distilled in 2009, this release follows the success of the 2007 release of their Sassicaia Finish Single Malt. This Speyside single malt whisky first spends its time aging in first-fill bourbon barrels before being transferred to barrels which previously held the well regarded Tuscan red wine.
The whisky was bottled in 2017 at 45% ABV and 8000 bottles will be available for this release, over twice the amount for their first release. .
