Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish 2009

I don't have contemporaneous notes for the pour I selected last week from the huge whisky menu at Boisdale in London, but I do recall it tasting like a thicker, more honeyed version of the 10-year. This is only the second Benromach I've sampled, but surely won't be the last.
