"There's a huge hit of fresh red apple as soon as the top is popped; it's followed by a little candy apple and a soft heat appropriate to the relatively low alcohol content. Baked apple dusted with cinnamon and splashed with vanilla emerges next. A hint of oak lingers into the sweet finish. Far better than most flavored whiskeys, this works nicely over a large cube and would play well in winter cocktails. "
