Bernheim 7 Year Original Wheat Whiskey

Toast with a vanilla reducrion drizzle on the nose. Spice on the pallet with a balanced burn. There is a nice, floral finish that i cannot place.

Not bad. Great price point. Very smooth. No heat rather sweet, but the sweetness is not overpowering. Can easily drink neat. Comparable to Rebel wheated bourbon. Will probably revisit this one again.

Solid, cheap daily drinker Color: warm amber color. Pretty fast moving legs. Nose: it definitely smells sweet. I get vanilla with a little spice. Taste: vanilla with some light spice. Also some oak. Very easy drinking! The spice doesn’t overwhelm me at all. A super light burn also. Finish?: short finish with everything disappearing quickly. Water?: no need, super light.

Startsas herbal, sweet green apples, then the spice kicks in for a rich feel, sweet and spice. Not a harsh spice kick like some hig rye bourbons. Perfect sipper, neat.

The finish introduces a modest burst of cinnamon spice, bringing with it a slightly more pronounced astringency that is nevertheless not unpleasant. This initial spice gives way to sweeter notes of honey, toffee, and apples, underscored by a hint of allspice. With a medium length, the finish neatly rounds off the tasting experience, echoing the characteristic sweetness and gracefully diminishing the flavors that came before.
