Tastes

This is super enjoyable. The nose is free of ethanol and I can’t put my finger on the notes but love it. The pull seems light yet has the hallmarks of the contrary. It has weight, softness and body. The finish has just the right amount of spice and burn, and lingers for a long time. The sherry influence is incredible with vanilla and hint of toasted orange. I am heading back tomorrow to get a second bottle.

I’m a fan. It’s an easy, enjoyable dram. No harsh notes. Sweet and light on the nose. Light on the pallet too, however it had an oily viscosity that seems to increase in weight on a baking spice finish.

Green apple and vanilla bean ice cream on the nose. Light on the pallet with a bit of cream and dry, slightly spicy finish. The tiniest (TINY!) hint of smoke is there from start to fiinsh.

A solid pour. Nothing special to distinguish it from other bourbons, but it is well rounded and the cinnamon finish is its hallmark.

Sweet nose with a hint of hearher transitions into a mega shot of honey, fullness, and remains full and rich on the pallet. The finish treats you with a wee puff of smoke. If i had one word to describe it, balanced is the word. The balance is striking.

First misleading reviews and flavor profile in this app. Peated nose and above average smoke dominate this pour, which is not my jam. The dark fruits are there but it is difficult to enjoy them through the smoke.

Apple, brown bread and hint of peat on the nose. Oily, caramel and bit of smoke on the pallet with a flash of spice and lingering vanilla finish. Excellent for the $

Amazing sipper. Fruited nose with more of the same, front to back. This is a steal.

Herbal caramel on the nose. Buttery sweet on the pallet with a zip of spice on the way down, leaving a dry bitter wake that lingers. Interesting and worth a dram.
