Black Cow Vodka
Unflavored Vodka
Black Cow // England
First introduced in 2012, Black Cow is the creation of dairy farmer Jason Barber. Produced in south west of England, the milk from Barber's grass-grazing dairy cows is used in its production.
More specifically, it is the whey from the cow's milk to which yeast is added to ferment into a "beer" (the curds are used to create cheddar cheese). This vodka is triple filtered and bottled at 40% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"The common perception is that unflavored vodka is exactly that — a neutral spirit with barely perceptible taste or aroma. In this instance, the vodka smells and and tastes like alcoholic chocolate milk. Yoohoo-like aromas with vanilla have a slight acetone burn on the nose. The texture is light, but the malty, chocolatey flavors still leave a creamy impression, with a bit of an alcoholic burn. Bring on the coffee and cream liqueurs — this is your ideal Black Russian base. "
