Blackened Rye the Lightning (2022 Release)

Must say one of the smoothest ryes I’ve had to date. The nose is pleasant with hints of mint, fig and brown sugar syrup. Taste comes through as pear, mint and cinnamon with a mildly spicy finish. At 90 proof there is no bite to this rye. I’m sure some would like a higher proof but this is a rye that’s very easy to drink. Dangerously, easy
