Blanton's Gold Edition

Nose: caramel, oak. A note i cant quite explain. Like gobs of honey covering #2 pencils. After the first sip and some air something very sweet and floral snuck out. Honey suckle? Body: thin to medium Palate: sweet pencil shavings. Second sip, lotta wood and a back palate of caramel. Finish: medium. Some peanut snuck out after a minute. Note: a random bottle offer from the good people at 1010. They are the best. First sip was like thats different. Sweet oak i think. The initial finish, first sip finish was quit long. A good dram. Different. Its like sucking on a #2 pencile thats been dipped in honey. Interesting.

Typical BT bourbon, caramel and vanila easily found. Baking spoces. Honey. Very smooth and the finish is excellent. Hangs around for a long while. Decent heat. Definitely better than normal Blantons.
