Blanton's Gold Edition

Raisin, fruit, oak, honey on nose. Caramel, light char, vanilla, baking soices, raisins, and sweet fruit. Much more complex than typical blantons.

Just ok. Tasted after George T. Stagg 2019 and it seemed pretty average. No burn, and decent flavor

Wow. It’s 105 proof and you woukdn’t even know. So smooth with full body richness. Very sweet. This is a must try. Assuming you can find it.

Iconic Blanton's bottle with gold writing, what else can you ask for. Hopefully more flavor than the standard Blanton's. Aroma is quite nice, stone fruits and berries with some malt sweetness and oak. Flavor has a fair amount of spice but as it opens up you get all that buffalo trace fruitiness along with some malt syrup. Finish is medium length but enjoyable sweet oak Overall, quite an upgrade from the standard Blanton's (which I find rather boring). If you can find a bottle definitely worth it
