Blood Oath is an annual limited edition release crafted by Lux Row Master Distiller & Blender John Rempe. For Pact No. 11, Rempe blended three batches of Kentucky straight bourbon. A 14 year-old ryed bourbon and a 10 year-old wheated bourbon were blended with a 7 year-old ryed bourbon which had been finished in añejo tequila barrels. As with all Pact releases, this was bottled at 98.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is mild with warm French Toast scents — bready, maple, cinnamon, powdered sugar, brown butter. And while the nose may suggest a super sweet bourbon, the sweetness level on the palate is mild. The rye influence brings a heartiness and the long aging from the oak brings a little chew and dryness. There's a delicate herbaceousness here as well. The finish is cinnamon forward and woody with a moderately long finish. Enjoyable one to have as a nightcap. "
