Blue Note Special Reserve Cask Finished Series begins with a blend of straight bourbons (aged 4-19 years). Three different mash bill recipes were used and they were distilled in Kentucky and Tennessee. After the initial maturation, the bourbons were individually finished up to three years in cognac, Madeira, sherry, port, vino de naranja, and American white oak barrels.
It's blended at cask strength of 112.5 proof. There are 2100 bottles available beginning in late June 2023.
