This bottling from Michter's Legacy Series is a tribute to the distillery founded in the 1800s near Schaefferstown, PA that later became Michter's. For this release, Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson selected barrels that were specially air dried for 3 years, with a large proportion matured in Chinquapin (Quercus muehlbergii) oak barrels.
The resulting small batch bourbon was bottled at 108 proof and available in limited quantities. .
